Rejoice! That's what the heavens say today with the fall of Babylon. We read John's words in Revelation 18:20, "Rejoice over her, O heaven, and you holy apostles and prophets, for God has avenged you on her!"
She had been found with the blood of the great prophets that had been slain at her hand, by the kings that had become drunk with her deception. Think of Jesus, and Peter, and even today, religious icons that have been persecuted and executed around the world, simply for loving Jesus and keeping His command.
But now, the Lord has avenged His wrath on her, and we can enjoy the fruits of His work. Until that time, we can rest easy knowing the God will take care of this, and we will do well to leave it in His mighty hands.
