Reflections from December 16, 2010

We read in Revelation 14:7, "Fear God and give glory to Him, for the hour of His judgement has come; and worship Him who made heaven and earth, the sea and springs of water."

All through the year, we've read in the New Testament of our preparations for the end time, and this is it! Judgement time! So, the angel says to worship God, but it might be a bit too late to start at this point. Since we don't want to get caught with our pants down, now is the time to worship Him, and give glory and honor to our Lord God Almighty. Don't be caught with the mark of the beast.

Now we share something in common with the ones that John saw in his vision, those that overcame the beast and triumphed in victory. John tells us how they give glory to God in Revelation 15:3-4, "They sing the song of Moses, the servant of God, and the song of the Lamb, saying, 'Great and marvelous are Your works, Lord God Almighty! Just and true are Your ways, O King of the saints! Who shall not fear You, O Lord, and glorify Your name? For You alone are holy. For all nations shall come and worship before You, For Your judgements have been manifested.'"

In today's times, many people doubt the will of God, and they essentially doubt His righteousness. Science, politics, and even some clergy have puffed themselves up with self-importance, and are leading many to believe that we on earth are the ones that will bring salvation. But in the end, it will be shown that throughout eternity there can never be any challenge of the fairness of God, of the righteousness of God or the judgments of God. There will always be that declaration of "holy and true are thy ways, thy judgments, O Lord".

Blessings to all
