Reflections from April 28, 2010

In Matthew 18:20 it says, "For where two or three are gathered together in My name, I am there in the midst of them."

To me, this has always been one of the most comforting passages in Scripture, to know that when my wife and I are unified together in Christ and we live are life in His name, Jesus promises that He is right here with us.

Proverbs 28:19 tells us, "He who tills his land will have plenty of bread, But he who follows frivolity will have poverty enough!"

In other words; you work, you eat...you don't work, you don't eat. Sounds like a Dad, doesn't it?
