Paul continues with his written notes to the seven churches and says in Revelation 3:10, "Because you have kept my command to persevere, I also will keep you from the hour of trial which shall come upon the whole world, to test those who dwell on the earth."
While this may not mean that there won't be trials that we must endure as we approach the end times, this does provide God's promise that when He starts His Great Tribulation, those that are faithful and persevere, will be spared God's trial. However, we must remain steadfast in our faith and in our call to action.
