The beauty of Jesus' words is clear in our reading of John chapter 10, where Jesus is still surrounded by Pharisees who are challenging Him. Jesus explains to them that He is the good Shepherd and goes on to say in John 10:10, "I have come that they may have life, and that they may have it more abundantly."
This is the Scripture of our church, and provides us with our purpose and strategy; We're about LIFE.

Jesus didn't desire for His followers to have a boring life, but to have one that is full and rewarding. In other words, to have an abundant life! It's through Jesus that we engage in life and find the joy and happiness that comes from enjoying life as one of His sheep.
