For the sixth miracle, John writes of Jesus healing a man that was born blind and restoring his eyesight. In John 9:4-5, Jesus says, "I must work the works of Him who sent Me while it is day, the night is coming when no one can work. As long as I am in the world, I am the light of the world."
Once again, the Pharisees were trying to trick Jesus with a question, but as always, He was able to see through that. Jesus was able to use the man's infirmity of being blind to reveal the glory of God by healing him. As the man later did, all one has to do is believe and worship Jesus as the Son of God. But the Jews were not willing to do that; in fact, they chastised Him for "working" on the Sabbath by making the clay with His fingers. Even though the Light of the World was standing right in front of them, they still couldn't see. Now, who really was the blind one?
Blessings to all
