Paul is providing encouragement to both the Jews and the Gentiles and sums up by saying in Romans 15:13, "Now may the God of hope fill you with all joy and peace to believing, that you may abound in hope by the power of the Holy Spirit."
This should be the prayer of all of us as Christians, to abound in Christian hope. We look ahead with a contagious enthusiasm because God has filled us with hope and provided His helper to us through the Holy Spirit.
From Proverbs 2:12 we learn more of what wisdom can do for us where it states, [Wisdom will] "deliver you from the way of evil, From the man who speaks perverse things."
The wisdom that comes from God will cause us to just walk away from these types of situations, ones that only produce bad things, evil things, and causes us harm. God's wisdom protects us in all areas of our life; all we have to do is apply use it and apply it.
