The interesting thing about Paul's letter to the Corinthians, especially the epistle of 2 Corinthians, is that these are very emotional letters from Paul's heart to the Church at Corinth. He spoke about himself much, and chapter 11 is one of those chapters. It's with a deep read that I had to find verses that are relevant to me; perhaps it was another attack by Satan on my mind. Nonetheless, I look to have no corruption of my heart and mind as Paul indicates in 2 Corinthians 11:3, "But I fear, lest somehow, as the serpent deceived Eve by his craftiness, so your minds may be corrupted from the simplicity that is in Christ."
One of the attacks by Satan is to try and establish rules and regulations that we as Christians believe is necessary to impose on believers. That takes away from the simple message of Jesus, to believe in Him and that He offered His life as a sacrifice for yours, and that He was raised from the dead after three days and now resides at the right hand of God, and that if you trust in Him as your Lord and Savior, you can live forever with Him in paradise. It really is that simple. But Paul recognized what was going on and warned them against corruption of the mind. In other words, KISS, Keep It Simple Silly!
Blessings to all
